The Dreaded Tragic Lights

Is there someone sitting in a room trying to totally wreck the heads of drivers all over the world with these traffic lights. They are everywhere, every fifty yards sometimes.

Sitting waiting in traffic and the lights change and two cars get through the lights and eventually your turn comes and you get through but to be faced with another red light fifty yards ahead.

Why is there no one monitoring these lights? The amount of fuel that is being wasted stopping and starting is just unbelievable.

Not alone that but the wear and tear on vehicles as well must be very severe. If you live in a city area, driving a manual car your clutch is suffering and your clutch changing leg as well.

Companies must be making a fortune putting them up and maintaining them.

You're sitting in a line of traffic and you can see straight ahead of you and two lights are green and the one at the end of the line is red. What is that all about, why are the lines of traffic from one end to the other not coordinated properly?

This is ridiculous, why do we have to put up with this?
