So your reading this and you say to yourself well this is none of my business, you think, this doesn’t affect you. Well I recently heard, if you don’t stand up for justice now someday you too may experience injustice and there will be no one there to help you. This is an injustice against our whole country, your children and their future.

Politicians acting like they are in a mafia cartel not a government. Justice needs to be served on these people. Are you going to stand back and allow this guy to literally steal €141.4 Million Euros from our country and do nothing? Supported by more people who act the very same way.

Pascal Donohoe: Minister for Finance in Ireland from 2017 to 2022 and again from January 2025 until his resignation in November 2025

Unbelievably, before he leaves he approves a payment of Ireland’s €141.4 million contribution to the World Bank’s International Development Association (exceeding the requested €131.4 million by €10 million, without a criminal investigation.

There is no way a finance minister in a position of such power with classified/sensitive private national financial information can resign after just a few months into a second term as minister of finance and just move into a private company’s financial post.

To compound suspicion of insider trading Donohoe is stepping into the role of managing director and chief knowledge officer for the World Bank. Basically second in command. But the Irish people have seemingly paid his wages for years to come.

The speculation around his November 2025 resignation to join the World Bank as Managing Director and Chief Knowledge Officer (starting November 24, 2025, with a reported salary around €600,000 tax-free) has sparked many employment and legal issues related to the information and responsibility he holds in that position.

Potential conflicts of interest, “revolving door” issues.

Second term, only eleven months in the job and during this time he must have been in discussions with the World Bank. A position like this will not be filled over night, senior executive positions at institutions like the World Bank—especially a high-level role such as Managing Director and Chief Knowledge Officer (effectively the number-two position)—typically involve a structured, multi-stage recruitment process rather than an overnight decision. These roles often require:

  • Nominations or expressions of interest from member countries or internal channels.
  • Preliminary discussions with senior leadership or board representatives.
  • Interviews, background checks, and negotiations on terms (e.g., salary, relocation, start date).
  • Final approval by the World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors.

A process like this can span months, involving “business narratives” strategic alignment discussions, knowledge-sharing and development impact, discreet networking in international finance circles.

This whole process from start to finish looks very fishy.

In Paschal Donohoe’s case, public records show:

  • Appointment announced by the World Bank on
    November 17/18, 2025
  • Board approval on November 17, 2025

His resignation as Irish Finance Minister
Eurogroup President – TD occurred immediately on
    November 18, 2025

    Less than one week later:
  • He started on November 24, 2025

Sensitive Knowledge Sharing With The World Bank

What private financial information could he have possible collected in his tenure as Minister that was sensitive and private to the EU and Ireland?

For Instance:

  • Proven policy solutions and development innovations — Best practices in economic resilience, fiscal policy, private capital mobilization, and growth strategies that can be replicated at scale for sovereign (government) and private sector clients in low- and middle-income countries.
  • Regulatory insights and technological advances — Knowledge of how regulations, financial systems, and tech intersect with development, informed by his time as Ireland’s Finance Minister, Eurogroup President (since 2020).
  • Global economic policymaking and investor dynamics — Understanding of how investors, private sector actors, financial companies, and technology firms operate, combined with deep experience in multilateral finance (e.g., EU/Eurozone coordination, budget surpluses, and crisis management during his Irish roles).
  • Strategic partnerships and engagement — Overseeing relationships with governments, civil society, foundations, philanthropies, and other stakeholders.
  • Housing developments and incomes. Foreign Inward Investments into Ireland. exports, sensitive corporate and private taxation information and so on.

Official World Bank statements emphasize that Donohoe brings “extensive knowledge” from over 20 years in public service and private sector roles, enabling him to help scale successful models across regions. For example:

  • Shaping research, policy advice, and technical support for loans/projects tackling poverty.
  • Ensuring the institution delivers “results-driven knowledge” that is practical and adaptable.

How much information was disclosed during the hiring process and beyond now as he gets a job of lifetime paid for by the people of Ireland.

There has to be a criminal investigation into this matter, this is too serious to just carry on as if nothing happened.

By the way, is giving away all this money breaching Civil and Human Rights in Ireland by this Government.

Donohoe’s decision to allocate €141.4 million to the World Bank’s International Development Association (IDA) in April 2025—amid a severe domestic homelessness crisis—could amount to a breach of civil or human rights for vulnerable Irish citizens who urgently need resources for housing, basic living conditions, and poverty alleviation.

This perspective is echoed in public discourse, opposition critiques, and social commentary in Ireland, where the contrast between international aid commitments and unmet domestic needs (e.g., record homelessness levels, with over 16,000 people in emergency accommodation as of late 2025, including thousands of children, plus estimates of up to 290,000 in “hidden homelessness” like precarious or overcrowded living) has fueled accusations of misplaced priorities or neglect of citizens’ rights to adequate housing and social security.

When are we going to see justice?

Here are two questions:

How can a person earning €600,000 a year pay no tax?

Pascal Donohoe’s salary is reported to be around
€600,000 tax-free.

How much smaller is your wage packet from all the tax you pay so Donohoe can give away €141.4 million?

Key Takeaways

  • The article discusses potential systemic corruption involving Pascal Donohoe, Ireland’s former Finance Minister, related to his approval of a €141.4 million payment to the World Bank.
  • Concerns arise over possible insider trading due to Donohoe’s swift transition to a top-tier position at the World Bank without sufficient investigation.
  • Critics argue that this funding allocation appears irresponsible, given the ongoing homelessness crisis in Ireland.
  • The article calls for a criminal investigation into these actions, emphasizing the need for accountability and justice for the Irish people.
  • It raises questions about the ethics of a high-salaried position like Donohoe’s, particularly in light of tax implications and the financial burden on ordinary citizens.

He is not the only one squandering your money, it is non stop now.
